2. Data We Collect

Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number, company name and job title when you sign up for a membership, book a tour or contact us.
Membership data: space type, access logs, invoice history and any special access permissions.
Accelerator application data: startup pitch materials, business plan summaries and information shared during the application process. This data is treated with strict confidentiality.
Event RSVP data: name and email when registering for events.
CCTV data: the building uses CCTV for security purposes. Footage is retained for 30 days.
Technical data: IP address, browser, device and website usage data via cookies.

3. How We Use Your Data

To manage your membership, access rights and billing.
To communicate about your account, bookings and community events.
To process accelerator applications fairly and confidentially.
To send the Startup Garage newsletter and event invitations (with consent).

4. Accelerator Application Confidentiality

All startup pitch materials, business plans and financial information submitted as part of an accelerator application are treated as strictly confidential. This information is shared only with designated members of our selection committee who are bound by confidentiality obligations. We do not share application materials with other applicants, investors or third parties without your written consent.

5. Cookies

We use essential, analytics and functional cookies. You may manage your preferences through the consent modal displayed on your first visit. Declining non-essential cookies will not affect your ability to use the site or contact us.

6. Data Sharing

With access control and building management software providers under data processing agreements.
With accounting and invoicing software to process membership fees.
With email service providers for transactional and marketing communications (with consent).
With Israeli government authorities when legally required.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share accelerator application data with any investor without the applicant's explicit consent.

7. Retention

Member account data is retained for the duration of membership plus 7 years for tax records. Accelerator application data is retained for 3 years. CCTV footage is retained for 30 days. Marketing consent records are retained until withdrawn.

8. Your Rights

Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law (5741–1981), you have the right to:

Access and review personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of data where retention is no longer legally required.
